福娃是北京2008年奥运会吉祥物，由五个拟人化的娃娃组成，分别叫“贝贝”，“晶晶”，“欢欢”，“迎迎”，“妮妮”，它们名字的读音“北京欢迎你”，福娃的造型分别融入了鱼，大熊猫，藏羚羊，燕子和奥林匹克圣火型象，色彩与奥林匹克五环一一对应。它们与北京奥运会徵和口号相应相合，把激情与欢乐，健康与智慧，幸运与繁荣带往世界各个角落，它们向全世界人民传递着和平，友谊，进步，和谐的北京奥运会理念及更快，更高，更强的奥林匹克精神，它们盛情邀请各国人民共聚北京，欢庆人类的盛典。

Fuwa is the mascot of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. It consists of five anthropomorphic dolls called "Beibei", "Jingjing", "Huanhuan", "Yingying" and "Nini". The pronunciation of their names is "Beijing Welcome You". Fuwa's styling incorporates fish, giant pandas, Tibetan antelopes, swallows and Olympic flame elephants. The colors correspond to the Olympic rings. They correspond to the symbols and slogans of the Beijing Olympic Games.
